HISTORY

EHP was founded in 2009 by Elizabeth Harvey. The business was originally named Elizabeth Sassman Photography (before the owner got married and changed her name). Elizabeth started her own business as a senior in high school with just a Canon Rebel. She was ambitious and determined to create a company that catered to what clients really want.

Elizabeth first started shooting mini sessions, high school seniors, and family photos. Then, she was invited to be a second shooter at a wedding. Her eyes were opened to the world of wedding photography, and she loved it.

Once she moved away to start college, she took her business with her to a new demographic. She began shooting her own weddings as the head photographer. Much of her clientele became wedding photography, so she focused her marketing on the wedding industry.

Then EHP had its fifth birthday. Elizabeth decided it was time to grow a team of one to a team of four. She expanded her employee base to include a second shooter, an editor, and a web content writer/editor. Welcome to the team!
